Jeff Billings began KCSports.net in 2006, with the idea of shooting high school sports for his nieces. He was asked to expand his range to include football, then basketball, etc.

I came along in 2008 and joined up with Jeff. We began shooting everything, high school sports, air shows, nature, wildlife, pastoral scenes, experimental photography. By 2010 we were in full swing, and by 2018, we were shooting as many as (for example) 200 basketball games a year.

Jeff maintains our online presence, upgrading the software as needed. Me, I just take pictures. I have the best of it.

Our idea is to provide a level of professionalism in photography that is not ordinarily seen at the high school level.
